The Effect of Coronavirus on Undergraduate Students in the Gauteng Province of South Africa during 2020-2022: An Interdisciplinary Assessment

The coronavirus pandemic has affected almost every aspect of human life across the entire globe, including tertiary education. This interdisciplinary study explored how undergraduate students in institutions located Gauteng Province South Africa experienced and coped with effects between 2020 to 2022 academic years. article used Rites Passage Concept interpret they transitioned from in-person learning online learning, latter hybrid learning. It then psychological concepts self-efficacy, self-regulation self-control illustrate motivated themselves continue pursuing their studies. To conduct this phenomenological study, researchers participatory observation in-depth interviews collect data over a three-year period. They employed anthropology psychology students’ experience.
